The spring scramble, gone
Every year your accountant sends the same list: statements, ledgers, the HST returns, the T4s, the receipts. With MapleFix that's one download, because everything already lives in your books.
A checklist that shows what's left
The year-end checklist walks through sales, purchases, bank and cash, parts on hand, equipment, payroll, GST/HST, owner pay and the accountant package. Each step is green when it's done, amber when something needs a look and red when it needs fixing, and steps that don't apply to your shop can be marked that way. Fix things on the computer; check the list on the phone.

What's in the package
"Download for my accountant" gives you one ZIP file with numbered folders:
- Financial statements: the income statement with last year beside it, the balance sheet and the trial balance.
- Tax mapping: your accounts mapped to GIFI codes for a corporation (T2 Schedules 100 and 125), or to T2125 lines for a sole proprietor, with totals.
- Books: the general ledger, trial balance, receivables aging and unpaid bills at year end.
- GST/HST: the year's returns, marked if any is still a draft, with sales and input tax credit detail.
- Equipment: the CCA schedule (Schedule 8) and the equipment list.
- Parts on hand: your year-end parts count.
- Payroll: the T4 Summary, T4 slips, remittances and pay runs.
- Bank: your reconciliations.
- Receipts: the year's receipt photos and PDFs, named by date, vendor and amount.
A README and the checklist come with it, so your accountant knows what they're looking at.
Files your accountant can open
Statements come as PDFs and the detail as spreadsheet files that open cleanly in Excel. Nothing needs MapleFix to read it, and nothing has to be retyped.
